The MCAT doesn’t test how well you know your sciences, it’s a test about how well you know the MCAT. This STARTS with a solid content foundation built on logic and understanding instead of facts and memorization. The study hall courses will take you through each science helping you build up that foundation with logical explanations, interactive sessions, and Q&A every step of the way to ensure you absolutely understand what’s going on.

Once you have the content mastered you’ll move on to the Q&A and practice sessions. This is where you test your ability to apply what you’ve learned to MCAT style questions. I’ll walk you through the questions helping you break it down step by step so you know how to approach the material.

And finally the bimonthly office hours will give you the opportunity to ask questions on any aspect of the MCAT to ensure you always have what you need to move forward in your preparation.

Questions about the 2015 MCAT Science Study Hall

Question: How come you’re only teaching science and not psychology and sociology?

Answer: I’ve never studied psychology and sociology and so it will take some time before I feel proficient enough to teach this material at the MCAT level. As for verbal, I’m working with a content writer to create passages for use in the study hall later this year.

Question: I’m not testing till late summer, will you be teaching these courses again in the summer?

Answer: NO. The MCAT Study Hall is an ongoing program. The live courses will be taught once, and then added to the course library for future students to study on their own. Once the core curriculum is available I will focus on the office hours, additional workshops and more in-depth topic-specific bootcamps as requested by students at the time. My goal is to continually grow the Study Hall video library to provide you with more than enough videos and direct help to ensure you have what you need in preparation for your exam.

Question: I’m testing in 2016, do you recommend joining now?

Answer: NO. I recommend 3-6 months to prepare for your MCAT, 8 if you’re super motivated. If you’re testing in 2016 I recommend waiting till summer to start studying
