Are you worried that a week grasp of physics will lower your overall MCAT score and decrease your chances of acceptance into medical school?

Do you find that you spend hours working through your MCAT physics study material, reading the information, memorizing formulas, doing tons of practice questions, and still find yourself with a low Physical Sciences score?

Physics tends to be one of the more difficult subjects tested on the MCAT. The average MCAT prep course will offer you volumes of information, hundreds of equations to memorize, along with lists and lists of equations. And as a diligent student you have probably invested hours upon hours trying to cram all of this into your brain.

And when it doesn’t make too much sense, you continue cramming, because that’s what you’re taught to do. And when you get stuck on a question you learn the answer, and attempt to force that into your brain too.

But because the material is taught as a series of facts, you don’t have an intuitive understanding of what’s going on. And when you come across a tricky MCAT question, you don’t know how to tackle it because you still don’t have an inherent knowledge of concept, and true foundation of this material.

What if instead you had the means to really understand every concept? What if you understood the what and how behind every physics question and calculation? Would you see physics passages in a whole new light? Will you find yourself studying the ‘what and how’ of a missed question instead of just reading the answers?

Will this help you earn a higher score on your MCAT Physical Sciences Section?

If all the MCAT prep courses teach facts and formulas to memorize? Where do you get this logical foundation?

If you’ve watched any of my videos or attended any of my live sessions, you know that this is exactly what I focus on when I teach. Not just the answer, but the what and how, the why, the logic behind the question.

So if you’re looking to learn your physics from ME – MCAT style with a focus on logic and foundation, then I have exciting news to share.

MCAT Physics Bootcamp Videos

I recently conducted an online interactive MCAT Physics bootcamp. The sessions followed the AAMC suggested topics breaking down each concept in great detail with logical foundation, intuitive explanations, and best of all simplification and derivation of all the equations.

And if I need to hear the information again?

Running the MCAT Physics crash-course style is great for building a foundation. But perhaps you need to hear the material 2-3 times for it to sink in. That’s why these videos are ideal. Watch them again and again, anytime day or night to ensure your confidence with the material builds as your create a solid foundation of concepts.

But What If I Need More In-Depth Review?

That’s where the MCAT Physics workshop videos come in. In addition to the bootcamp videos, your study hall membership gives you access to all of my past and future MCAT Physics workshops.

Workshop sessions delve into a single topic in much greater detail, complete with practice questions and the recordings of lots of Q&A. If you have a question on a particular topic, chances are that a student at the live event asked a similar question and the answer is already waiting for you in the recording.

You will get a full-color PDF of the notes from every single workshop.

How Will I Be Able To Tell If I’ve Mastered The Information?

The first step to learning is to actually LEARN. The next step is to test yourself and your ability to apply what you know to practice questions. That’s why I will be adding the following to the MCAT Physics Study Hall in September

[black_tick_list width=”80{50d57943994ce258c20b4f2a090fc61f8495997aebd30fe1b6d419dfd44a0e06}”]

  • MCAT Style Practice Question Quizzes divided by topic testing your abilities from simple to tricky applications
  • LIVE Interactive sessions where we solve each quiz together, and Video recordings of the live sessions if you can’t make it, or simply need to watch it a few more times
  • Full color PDF of notes from every Question Solving Session

And If I’m Still Stuck?

While many of the common questions will be answered in the videos, you may still have a unique question and require an answer… NOW. That’s why I created the MCAT Study Hall Facebook Group for members to ask questions, interact, and help each other in the pre-med journey.

Post your questions to the group and get an answer in less than 24 hours. I personally log in daily to answer questions.

So How Much Does This Cost?

I’ve put this membership together because I find that with my tutoring clients I am often answering the same questions and teaching the same information over and over. If taught you all of this via private tutoring sessions, at my $75/hour weekday rate, it would quickly add up as follows:

[red_tick_list width=”100{50d57943994ce258c20b4f2a090fc61f8495997aebd30fe1b6d419dfd44a0e06}”]

  • 12+ hours of bootcamp sessions ($1,000 value)
  • 4+ Hours of past/future workshop sessions ($300+ value)
  • MCAT Style topic-specific quizzes + video solutions ($2000+ value)
  • Ability to watch and learn over and over (priceless)
  • Ongoing Questions/Support in the Facebook Group (priceless again)

As you can see, these quickly add up to 4-figures. But since the study hall allows me to work with many students at the same time, I am able to offer all the above for just $499

Answer: You get access to everything mentioned above through Jan 2015

Question: I’m taking my MCAT in January, does it make sense for me to get this now?

Answer: I recommend spending at least 3 months studying for the MCAT. Since you will have access to the recordings till the end of 2014; Why not join, get your foundation, then revisit the videos as you get to each topic in your study schedule.

Question: I plan to take my MCAT next year, and haven’t taken college physics yet. Does it make sense for me to join?

Answer: This is an MCAT physics bootcamp which requires some background in physics. The teachings and calculations will focus specifically on the MCAT, you are welcome to join and get ‘grounded’ in concepts to help make your course easier. Just realize that all the questions are answered  ‘MCAT Style’
