1. 1. Refunds: 

2. a. MCAT Study Hall Self Study Level: I offer a 1-week satisfaction guarantee for the Self Study level of the MCAT Study Hall only.  This satisfaction guarantee allows you to try the Self Study level of my MCAT Study Hall program for no more than 7 consecutive calendar days from your initial purchase.  If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please submit a written request for a refund here within 7 days of your initial purchase.  Within 2 business days of receiving your request, your automatic monthly payments will be canceled (if applicable) and you will receive a 96% refund of your initial payment.  You will also lose access to the MCAT Study Hall video library, live group sessions, private Facebook Tutoring group, and any promotional bonuses that were offered as an incentive for purchase.  Limit of 1 refund per person.  (In other words, if you have already signed up and received a refund, you will not receive a refund if you choose to sign up again.)

3. b. For all other products and services (including, but not limited to, MCAT science bootcamps, Organic Chemistry Study Hall, MCAT Study Hall Comprehensive Level, and Organic Chemistry Bootcamps): I have a strict no-refund policy.  If you are unsure whether my services are right for you, please contact me here prior to purchase to discuss your needs/expectations/questions and we can work together to figure out your best option.  No refunds will be issued for any reason.

4. 2. Automatic Recurring Payments

a. Date/Time: Monthly payments are handled through PayPal as is described in PayPal’s terms (which can be found here). Your billing can be managed directly from your PayPal account. Payments process around 12:01am Pacific Time, but may process earlier or later at PayPal’s sole discretion.
b. Cancelling: You are responsible for canceling your membership when you are done using it. Recurring payments will not automatically be canceled after any set time.

i. 2 Business Days Notice: If you need my help cancelling your payments, you must reach out via email here at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled payment date to ensure I have time to cancel it for you. Cancellations made with less than 2 business days notice may not be honored until the next billing cycle and therefore the payment will not be subject to a refund.
ii. Guaranteed Access: Regardless of when you cancel in the billing cycle, you will retain access for the time you paid for in accordance with these terms and conditions.
iii. Discounts: Cancelling recurring payments for any reason cancels any associated discount. Discounts will not be reapplied to new payments unless guaranteed in writing prior to the cancellation.

c. Failed Payments: if your payment fails for any reason, your account will be locked until the payment is successful. Accounts will be reinstated within 2 business days of a successful payment. Lost time due to failed payments will not be compensated or refunded.
d. Pausing: The MCAT Study Hall (any level) may be paused for up to 1 year. After 1 year, the time remaining on the account will be forfeit. No refunds or other compensation will be given. Individual bootcamps and the Orgo Study Hall may not be paused unless prior written permission is given.

i. To pause your MCAT Study Hall account: Send a written request via email at least 2 business days prior to the date you wish to pause. Accounts will not retroactively be paused for any reason. Pausing an account will forfeit any bonuses or discounts that you initially qualified for. Sessions that were acquired as part of your membership or purchased separately at the member rate, may be honored only during active membership.
ii. There is a minimum pause duration of 1 month. We are unable to accommodate requests to pause for any period less than 1 month.
iii. There is a maximum pause duration of 1 year. After 1 year, the credit on your account will be forfeit and not subject to refund or other compensation.
iv. To resume your membership: Send a written request via email and my assistant will manually reinstate your account within 2 business days. Monthly accounts will not automatically resume billing, and new monthly payments will be made at the current rate and any prior discounts will be forfeit.
v. To cancel while paused: You may cancel a paused account at any time, but the remaining credit will be forfeit and not subject to refund.
vi. Exclusions: Any membership with less than a week remaining may not be paused. Organic Chemistry Study Hall memberships may not be paused. 

1. 3. Access start & duration:

a. Start: You will receive access within 1 hour of signing up. If you don’t receive a welcome email within 1 hour, you must reach out here and allow my team 2 business days to respond.
b. Duration: The duration of your access to your account depends on the promised duration on the signup page.

i. Monthly: Monthly access means that you have access for roughly 30 days (in accordance with the automatic payment section above) that will automatically renew unless you cancel (see cancellation policy above).
ii. 60 days: Products with 60 days of access will expire at 12:01 am ET on the 61st day.
iii. 3 months, 5 months, or 6 months: Products with prepaid access will have access through the specified timeline. Unless otherwise stated, prepaid access will automatically switch to a monthly membership with automatic recurring monthly payments per your PayPal agreement. (For cancellation, see cancellation policy above.)

4. Purchasing on behalf of another: In order to prevent fraud, I must receive written authorization from the email address associated with the PayPal account on file. Failure to produce written authorization that includes the name and email address of the person who is receiving the access will be handled in accordance with the ‘account abuse’ section below.
5. Email Support:

a. Account, Billing, and technical support questions: My team handles all account, billing, and technical support questions via email within 2 business days. Use this form to submit your question. 
c. Tutoring questions: I do not answer tutoring questions over email. If you have a tutoring question, you may contact me here to discuss your options for scheduling a one on one session.
d. Accountability: Email accountability is only included in the Comprehensive and VIP levels of the MCAT Study Hall. 

6. Phone Support: Phone support is not available at any level unless agreed upon prior to purchase via email. I offer texting support for the Comprehensive and VIP levels of the MCAT Study Hall, but all billing or account questions or changes (for any level) must be received via email.
7. 1-on-1 Sessions: 1-on-1 sessions are not scheduled until after payment is received. I have limited availability for sessions during my business hours (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Eastern time). For sessions outside of that time, you must receive written approval prior to purchase.  My schedule opens approximately 2 weeks out and fills up quickly.  I will make a reasonable effort to accommodate scheduling requests that are within business hours, but you accept liability for any scheduling conflicts.

a. Speed Calls: Speed calls are phone calls that are 20-25 minutes in length and must be used within 3 months of purchasing.
b. Strategy Sessions: All strategy sessions are virtual and take place via GoToMeeting. It is your responsibility to schedule your sessions with me.

i. Cancellation: Your time is reserved only for you. If you need to cancel, I expect at least a 2 business days notice to cancel or reschedule. (For cancellations, see refund policy above.)
ii. Late/no-show policy: Strategy sessions will not be extended due to tardiness. Failure to show up to your scheduled session within 10 minutes of the scheduled time will result in session forfeiture. No refunds or make-up sessions will be granted.
iii. Included with Membership: Strategy sessions that are included in a membership or promised as a bonus for joining a membership level may only be used during an active membership period. Paused/Cancelled/Expired memberships forfeit any unused sessions.

iv. Expiration: Except when included with a membership, all purchased strategy sessions must be used within 3 months of purchase.  Expired sessions are forfeit and not subject to refund.

c.Tutoring Sessions: All tutoring sessions are virtual and take place via GoToMeeting. It is your responsibility to schedule your sessions with me.

i. Cancellation: Your time is reserved only for you. If you need to cancel, I expect at least a 2 business days notice to cancel or reschedule. (For cancellations, see refund policy above.)

8. Use of Private Facebook Tutoring Group:

a. For accounts with access to my private Facebook tutoring groups, I reserve the right to remove your access to the Facebook group in accordance with the group policies. No discounts or other compensation will be made in these instances.
b. No discounts, alternatives, or other compensation will be made if you choose not to use these groups.

9. Technical Issues: All technical issues (including, but not limited to, trouble with updating payment information, accessing a page, and video playback issues) must be reported here.  We require 2 business days to reply to all technical issues and questions. You assume liability for unreported technical issues. 

10. Payment Disputes: In order to protect against fraud, all chargebacks and PayPal claims will be disputed with proof that the user interacted with the course and consulting.  Failure to contact me via email and allowing 2-business days for a reply prior to issuing a chargeback will result in the chargeback or PayPal case being disputed.

11. Account Abuse:

a. I do not permit students to share accounts. If I determine that you are sharing an account or otherwise abusing your account, I may, at my discretion, lock your account until we come to a resolution via email. Payments will not automatically be cancelled in this situation.
b. I do not allow my videos to be downloaded under any circumstance.
c. I reserve the right to, at my discretion, terminate your account for any reason.
